Jennifer Fugitt-Hatfield, PHR
Director of Operations
Jennifer came to us after attending Shawnee State University in Ohio. She has traveled the world and lived in places such as Hawaii, Arkansas and Georgia. Jennifer grew up on the west coast of Florida which is what brought her back to the laid back, tropical lifestyle.
As Director of Operations, Jennifer uses her background in marketing and management to handle most of Sarasota Animal Hospital’s Public and Human Relations, hospital employee hiring and training, works actively as Office Manager and Events Coordinator and was presented with the Hill’s Veterinary Nurtitional Advocate award in 2010. She has worked as a Client Care Specialist and as a Veterinary Assistant with a special interest in dermatology and laboratory technology. Jennifer is also active in the Lakeland community serving as Chairperson for Florida Blood Services, McKeel Academy of Technology and George Jenkins High School Job Shadow and Volunteers Hours coordinator and an active participant with The American Heart Association benefits and events.
She has attended numerous seminars and conferences throughout the Central Florida region such as the NAVC, the FVMA and The Veterinary Practice Management Seminar. Jennifer brings her passion of positive empowerment and achievement (through the readings of author Stephen R. Covey) to the employees here at Sarasota Animal Hospital with her training techniques and management style. Jennifer has an American Cocker Spaniel named Mickey, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Lexi and a 12 year old cat named Sammy.
June Allen, Head Certified Veterinary Technician
June came to SAH in August 1980. She has a degree in Animal Science and is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She had the honor of being Veterinary Technician of the Year in 2007 through the FVMA. Her recognition was based on her involvement with SAH, her leadership with 4H and Pet Therapy Programs. June, her husband of 33yrs, Raymond and their 2 sons Raymond Jr and Kevin are all natives of Florida. She always enjoys family time especially when its outdoors. June has one dog named Copper and she is a pet therapy dog. June hopes to always educate and enrich peoples lives through animals.
Kim Becker, Certified Veterinary Technician
Kim joined our team in 2010 after working for 12 years as CVT in Buffalo, NY. She earned her A.A.S degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY DELHI and holds a bachelors degree from SUNY Geneseo. Her specialties include inventory management and assisting in Surgery and Dental Procedures. While she enjoys her days at SAH, she also enjoys spending time with her Husband, Mark and two children, Allyson and Kyle, as well as her rescued Golden Retriever Brody and her cat Clementine. In her spare time she enjoys, reading and spending time at the beach.
Kristina Bridgeman, Veterinary Assistant
Kristina has been with SAH since June 2014. She is very devoted to Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Kristina is very busy when not helping with rescue she is in school studying to be a Certified Veterinary Technician. She enjoys spending her free time with her two Great Danes at the dog park, she also has two Chihuahua’s Riley and Sylvester (both of whom you can usually see at the reception area), she also has three cats.
Grecia Corredor, Tech Assistant
Grecia has been with SAH since May 2010. Grecia wears many hats at SAH, helping out in the Kennel, Treatment, Room Tech and also in Reception. Grecia recently graduated from USF with her bachelors degree and will attend Veterinary School in the near future. She is originally from Venezuela but was raised in Sarasota. She enjoys playing with her 2 dogs Rambo and Angel. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and catching up on her never ending pile of homework.
Jennifer Hanlon, Tech Assistant
Jennifer joined SAH in February, 2017, she is originally from Long Island, New York. Client education is one of her favorite areas, she tries hard to learn new thing every day to pass onto pet owners. Jennifer has three rescue dogs. Piper a Catahoula mix, Penny is a Doberman pincher and Dakota a Siberian Husky, the dogs share their home with two cats, Stevie and Spunky.
Madison Campbell, Animal Caregiver
Madison has been with Sarasota Animal Hospital since August 2015 as a Animal Caregiver.
Ever since she was little, she has loved being around any animal. She has previous Animal Caregiver experience and also has volunteered at a wildlife sanctuary. She loves her job because she gets to know all the dogs and cats that she takes care of. When not working she is usually taking her yellow lab Stanley to the dog park or dog beach.
Maureen Cribbs, Client Care Specialist and Kennel Assistant
Maureen has been with SAH since June, 2016. On her spare time she enjoys swimming and spending time with her 3 dogs. Yes…they swim together!!!
Debbie, Client Care Specialist
Debbie has been with SAH since July, 2016. You will see Debbie’s warm smile as a Client Care Specialist. When Debbie has free time she enjoys going to the beach, reading and doing Creative Memory. She has two daughters and 2 dogs.
Lester Kiessling, Client Care Specialist
Lester joined SAH in December 2016, he is a military veteran. Lester has two children and three grandchildren, one of whom was just born on Valentine’s day. Lester lives with his diva dog, Keira, besides loving his family and dog, he is a Disney person.
